Add a watermark or background

Choose Document > Add Watermark & Background, and do one of the following:

Select Add A Background to add an image or graphic effect behind the text and graphics on the page.

Select Add A Watermark to superimpose text, an image, or a graphic effect over text and graphics on the page.

Select Show When Displaying On Screen if you want the background or watermark to be visible when the page is viewed on screen, or select Show When Printing if you want the background or watermark to print.

Select the source (PDF, JPG, or BMP) for the background or watermark:

Select From Text to enter text and formatting of your choice.

Select From File and click Browse (Windows) or Choose (Mac OS) to search for a file on the hard disk. Select a page number if the file contains more than one background or watermark.

Set the vertical and horizontal alignment of the background or watermark, and enter a number of degrees if you want to rotate the image. Use the Opacity slider or text box to set the degree of opacity.

Select All Pages or specify a page range to which to add the background or watermark.
